Welcome to the Labea Yachting website. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (Policy). Safeguarding the privacy of all visitors to our website is important to us and, with this in mind, we would like to explain a bit about how our site operates and the content it may feature, as well as any personal data which may be collected and the reasons for doing so.

Personal Data

A Data Controller is the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data. For this website, the Data Controller responsible for processing your personal data, in accordance with Greek and European law, including under the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679/ΕΕ), is:

Processing can refer to any operation performed on personal data. On this website, processing refers primarily to the collection, organization, and storage of personal data, as well as, in certain cases, disclosure for the purposes of advertising. This Policy provides details on which of your personal data may be processed, and explains your rights in connection with this processing.

Personal data is the information that is unique to you, and is capable of identifying you as an individual. The personal data which may be processed for the purposes of this website, is detailed below.

On our website you will find a page entitled Sell Your Boat, via which you are invited to input all the information relevant to a vessel you may decide to sell. Most of the information requested is vessel-specifc, e.g. fuel, engine, battery, or other equipment details. The only personal data that you are requested to complete is your full name and telephone number, so that you can be contacted by our team.

If applicable, you may choose to insert the boat captain’s name and contact telephone number. We ask that you please refrain from sharing such third party name and telephone details, without first informing him or her that you intend to do so, and ensuring that this person consents to be contacted in relation to the respective boat sale and purchase transaction.

If you would like to make any general queries or comments, you are welcome to contact us via the dedicated Contact Form on our website. In such a case, you will need to provide your name and e-mail address, so that we can respond to you and send you any information you may have requested. You may also opt to have promotional material sent to your e-mail, such as updates on new products or services you may find interesting.

When you use the Contact Form or the Sell Your Boat feature, you will be given the option to agree to this Policy. By agreeing, you give your consent to the processing of whichever of the above personal data you provide in each case. Please note that your consent does not extend beyond your own data to cover any third party personal data you provide, in respect of which you should ensure that these are only provided where the third party knowingly agrees.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, by simply sending an e-mail to info@labeayachting.com. Your e-mail and/or telephone number, if you have provided either, may from time to time be shared with third parties, such as Google, Facebook or MailChimp. This way, updates or advertisements can reach you and be tailored to your interests, meaning that they will be more likely to include news, products, features or services you may enjoy. When you consent to the use of your personal data, you agree to this information being shared with the above third parties. You are encouraged to read the privacy policies of each of these websites carefully.

Any personal data you may provide on this website will not be transferred outside the European Union. Please note however that your personal data may be shared with the competent public authorities, where such an obligation is imposed by law.

You keep complete control over any personal data you choose to share with us. At any moment, you have the right to request:

  • Access, where you want to inquire about the personal data collected from you;
  • Rectification, where your personal data are inaccurate or incomplete;
  • Erasure, for example, where your personal data are no longer needed for the purpose for which they were collected, or where you withdraw your consent;
  • Restriction of processing, for example where the accuracy of your personal data are contested (and for as long as it takes to verify the accuracy).

In order to exercise any of your rights, or if you would like to ask for additional information or clarifications, please send an e-mail, at any time, to info@labeayachting.com.

Your personal data are stored only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which you shared your data in the first place, as well as when it is necessary in order to remain compliant with applicable legislation.

Technical and organizational measures are in place on this website, to help ensure that any personal data which are processed are protected from loss, tampering, or unauthorized third party access. Our aim is to consistently improve these measures in line with technological developments.
